The Science Behind Sleep
I am currently learning how proteins convert to l-tryptophan to 5-hydroxytryptophan to 5-hydroxytryptamine also known as serotonin which we need to sleep (as well as how melatonin fits into the picture). Fascinating and incredibly useful information for shift workers, people with sleep issues, and well for anyone who has sleeping problems sometime.
